Can you telll me a little bit about
She's a child of the Great Depression?
Really like the song
The song was actually written about my mother in law who grew up in the Clinch mountains during the depression with 14 siblings and learned all these little ways to survive that she uses today. They have become a way of life for her and through her they are now used by her family as well. It's really precious to us and makes me think about how I use and abuse things so easily and take so much for granted when I'm in her presence.
