Hi Suzy, Thank you so much for this sweet message. I am so glad you enjoyed the Christmas album. I feel it is one of the best things I have ever written .I believe I must have had some heavenly help because the thought of trying to tell the greatest story ever told in some kind of fresh way was quite an undertaking. I did a lot of research on it and spent many hours on the phone consulting with my uncle who is a theologian. This year The Poor Mountain Boys and I have some shows booked where we will perform the album from start to finish. The band members will read the scripture that inspired each song and then I will share some of my thoughts and give insights to how I approached the characters in each song. We are doing one of the shows in Rockville, IN on Dec. 2 which is as close as we will be to you but I hope you can make it. I remember speaking with you and am so glad to hear from you. We had a blast playing Kendalville and hope they will have us back in the future. Peace, Donna

There is a songbook that is available through Amazon.com with all the words and the chords and music. I also included more information on the inspiration for each song and my thought process when writing it and it has photos of me and all of my co-writers. I think you might enjoy the whole book. Thanks and I am so glad you like my music! Peace, Donna
still look like wonder woman donna to me really missed you these last few years.love your music.

Thank you for this wonderful message! It is so nice to be remembered from my early days of performing in the Virginia Beach area with Rick and look at us...we are still making music together and loving every minute of it! I hope we do get to see you in June at the Dinwiddie, VA festival! And thank you for tuning in to hear me on Bluegrass Junction. Peace, Donna

Thanks. We love playing Mountaineer Opry. Just don't have anything on the books that will work as a tie-in at this time and they book up way in advance.
Did you once sing at a place called The Fifth National Bank, Little Creek, VA?

I sure did and loved singing there! My husband Rick Stanley and I were in a band together that was the house band. So nice that you remember!
I think a LIVE CD and DVD would be great. Just a thought for the Queen of CAPS, lol

Don't think we have not thought about it. There is a chance it will happen sometime in the future but not anytime soon! With DVD's it take s a different kind of licensing for the songs in the form of a synch license and it can get pricey according to my label.

well thank you so much! We had the best time at Backbone Bluegrass Festival! Loved the town of Strawberry Point and the festival! There is a little bit of talk that we might even be back there next year! I sure hope so. So glad you like the CD. I loved writing those songs and still consider it one of the best things I have ever done musically. Take care.
